Mongi Besbes

Mongi Besbes, Professor of Automation and Industrial Computing, holds a Doctorate in Automation and Industrial Computing, a master’s degree in electrical engineering and an Engineering Diploma in Electronics from the National School Engineers from Tunis. He held several academic positions at the Tunisian University as Director of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National School of Engineers of Carthage (from 2004 to 2011) and Director of the Department of Virtual Education at the University of Carthage (from 2011 to 2014). Director of the Higher Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (2014-2020). Since 2020, he is Vice Rector at University of Carthage. His research focuses on Robotics, LPV nonlinear systems and observers, fuzzy logic, multi-level inverters and renewable energies.
