Fatma Ghorbel

 

Head of International Relations Office, Direction of Academic Affairs and Scientific Partnership at the University of Sfax, Advisor Director, Erasmus+ & H2020 contact point.

Since 2008, she has been responsible for International Cooperation at the University of Sfax, in particular cooperation agreements (MoU), Double-degree agreements, thesis co-supervision agreements… etc. She also participated in the management of quality assurance projects at the University of Sfax and its institutions.
She deals with international projects within the various European programmes (Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Erasmus+ KA1 & KA2, H2020…etc.) and contributes to the setting up and management of several European exchange and capacity building projects.
She has participated in the coordination of Erasmus Mundus mobility projects: Averroes, Battuta, Emmag and UNetBA.
Currently, she coordinates more than 70 Erasmus+ international credit mobility projects with many Programme countries.
Within the framework of the European Tempus programme, she contributed to the management of many projects such as:
“AQI-UMED” for the Strengthening of Internal Quality Assurance in Mediterranean Universities: Algeria-Morocco-Tunisia,
“EOLES” Electronic and Optic e-learning for Embedded Systems,
“E-MEDIA” Master in CrossMedia Journalism,
“INFOBC” Innovation in Training for Cultural Heritage.
She is the Project Manager of the Erasmus+ CBHE CONFIDE project “Strengthening Public Health Research Capacity to Inform Evidence Based Policies in Tunisia” project coordinated by the University of Babeș-Bolyai-Romania.
She is the project Manager of the Erasmus+ CBHE INSAF-FEM project « Innovation Sociale et Technologie pour une Meilleure Employabilité des Femmes Tunisiennes” project coordinated by the University of Cadiz – Spain.
She is administrative coordinator of Maya project “Master in Agricultural and Hydrological Approaches to a Better Sustainable Development” a project coordinated by the University of Sassari-Italy.
She is also a member of the following Erasmus+ capacity building projects:
-SM-WELD “South Mediterranean Welding Center for Education, Training and Quality Control” project coordinated by Royal Institute of Technology – Sweden.
– RESUME “Mediterranean Network for Employability”. Project coordinated by UNIMED.
– SPAAT4FOOD “Strategic Platform for Ameliorating Tunisian Higher Education on Food Sciences and Technology” project coordinated by the University of Sfax.
– WESET “Wind Engineering Skills in Egypt and Tunisia” project coordinated by the University of Valladolid – Spain.
She is responsible for the quality assurance and internal evaluation of the SAGESSE project “Improving Governance in the Higher Education System in Tunisia”, project coordinated by UNIMED – Italy
She is also managing the H2020 DARE project “Dialogue about Radicalisation and Equality”
coordinated by the University of Manchester.

She is member in H2020 MICAFRICA project “Towards a North-African Consortium of the Human Microbiome (NACHM) through strengthening the Capacities in Microbiome Analysis for Human Diseases at University of Sfax”
