The SMTMC Management and Dissemination Meeting was held in Sfax on September 23-24, 2024, bringing together project partners from Tunisia and Europe to review the project’s progress and discuss future sustainability strategies.

During this event, key stakeholders, including representatives from the University of Sfax, University of Carthage, University of Jendouba, University of Gabès, Plasmatrix (Sweden), University of Vigo (Spain), University of Galați (Romania), Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (France), and the European Welding Federation (EWF), engaged in:

• Project overview presentations, highlighting the progress and outcomes of SMTMC.
• Workshops on work packages, focusing on development, quality assurance, and dissemination strategies.
• Industrial cooperation discussions, aimed at strengthening collaboration between academia and the industry.
• Showcase of purchased equipment, exploring its integration into student laboratories and industrial applications.
• Strategic planning for the sustainability of the Center of Excellence in Tunisia.

The meeting concluded with a management session to assign future tasks and responsibilities, ensuring the continuity of the project beyond the Erasmus+ framework.
